More on Delicious

Twitter

I joined Twitter back in March 2009. Don't use it regularly. It's interesting to follow very current news happenings and then link to further reading.
It's probably more suited to those who have a screen in front of them most of the day and they can flick over to Twitter to view updates.
I follow BBC, ABC, CNN. Used to follow ALIA, but wasn't very interested in their Tweets (sorry alia). I am being followed by a few randoms.
Just read about linking Flickr to Twitter, but decided that I don't want to do that.

NINGS

Well, I'd never heard of a 'Ning' before. Now I am a member of the Library 2.0 Ning, evne have my own page with dp & uploaded a pic of the my local library. It was interesting to view the long list of groups with this Ning. Seemingly, something for everyone! Also had a look at the other Nings mentioned including Mossmon & Museum. Some of the photos being shared I don't believe give a positive promotion.
I search for a directory of Nings. Found one, but it wasn't real good, I'm sure there would be a better directory. Any suggestions?? Thought it would be interesting to join another Ning but am yet to descover one that genuinely appeals to me. So I'll keep searching!

Using Flickr has been fun

2.1

Just starting 2.1 learning!

So it has been over a year since I last posted a blog. But I have been using some of the tools that I learnt about during the 2.0 course.
Using Flickr has been of great interest to me and has enable me to have some of my photography recognised internationally.

I feel a bit rusty and have ahd to re-navigate my way around this blog, but it's all coming back.

It's interesting to discover how much I do know and how much I don't know about different things I've been studying. I'm sure this program will be no different.
