I joined Twitter back in March 2009. Don't use it regularly. It's interesting to follow very current news happenings and then link to further reading. It's probably more suited to those who have a screen in front of them most of the day and they can flick over to Twitter to view updates.
I follow BBC, ABC, CNN. Used to follow ALIA, but wasn't very interested in their Tweets (sorry alia). I am being followed by a few randoms.
Just read about linking Flickr to Twitter, but decided that I don't want to do that.
